Fingal County Childcare Committee has always focussed on ensuring that early year's providers in Fingal are kept informed of matters that influence high quality provision and practice for the sector.

To support Managers in Early Years Services to develop high quality provision and practice, FCCC are holding a networking morning for owners and managers of Early Years Services in the Fingal Area.

The morning will consist of a networking breakfast buffet giving an opportunity for providers to meet with FCCC staff, a presentation from Julianne Cooney and Grainne Kinsella on Meitheal - A national approach to assessing the needs of children and families that have come to the attention of practitioners and community members because of a child welfare or safety concern.

There will also be a session on the Síolta Management Standards, Standard 4: Consultation, Standarad 8: Planning & Evaluation, Standard 9: Health & Welfare, Standard 10: Organisations, Standard 11: Professional Practice, Standard 12: Communication and Standard 15: Legislation & Regulation.

This session is aimed at managers who may or may not be considering embarking on the Siolta QAP journey. The session will explore topics such as the role of a leader and will support managers to increase their knowledge or Síolta and to enhance practice.
