You may be aware that Tusla Early Years Inspectorate is now carrying out focused inspections that include how you address a complaint made in relation to your service.

It is now a requirement under Regulation 32 that providers have in place an appropriate COMPLAINTS POLICY and PROCEDURES, using a standard format, based on the mandatory requirements detailed in this regulation.

To support providers towards meeting their mandatory requirements under Regulation 32 - COMPLAINTS , Fingal County Childcare Committee is delivering three workshops as follows:



VENUE: Riasc Centre, Feltrim Road, Swords, Co Dublin

DATE: 14th November 2017

TIME: 6.30pm - 8.00pm


VENUE: Droicht, Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin15

DATE: 15th November 2017

TIME: 6.30pm - 8.00pm


VENUE: Castlelands Community Centre

DATE: 21st November 2017

TIME: 6.30pm - 8.00pm


This workshop is aimed at those who are responsible for the development of policies and procedures i.e. owners, manager, senior childcare staff.

Following attendance at one of the workshops participants will be emailed a draft Policy template and supporting documentation.

Places are limited to 20 places per session that will be offered on a first come first served basis. One place per service only will be available.

To secure a place you must forward a completed Booking Form together with €10 per participant cheque/cash, made payable to Fingal County Childcare Committee.

Fingal County Childcare Committee operate a waiting list system for training/information sessions as and when sessions are advertised. Waiting lists will expire once all planned role our are complete. Names will be added to waiting lists only where booking forms have been reviewed. Waiting lists are organised on a first come first served basis and places are only confirmed by Colette Redmond/Gina Daly, FCCC.
