Welcome to Fingal County Childcare Committee

The Fingal County Childcare Committee was established in 2001 as one of the 33 County/City Childcare Committees that exist throughout the country, FCCC was formed to act in an advisory capacity to all childcare services in Fingal county, providing advice, information and assistance on a wide variety of topics in the childcare field.

ECCE Updates

Fingal County Childcare Committee will endeavour at all times to brng you the latest news on the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme. Please see links below for more information on the ECCE Scheme and downloadable documents.

Please Note: The closing date for all applications (ECCE & CETS) in September 2010 is now closed. Up-to-date information on the ECCE Scheme can be found on the ECCE Information tab under Childcare Providers.

ECCE Fee's Policy and Pre-School Calendar

By now providers participating in the ECCE Scheme in September should of received their Fees Policy and a copy of the Pre-School Calendar for September 2010 - August 2011 which were issued by the OMCYA. The Pre-school Calendar and Fees Policy must be completed by services and returned to the FCCC Office by Friday 13th August. Participants should retain copies of both the fee's policy and pre-school calendar for their records. The OMCYA has also drawn up criteria on 'Optional Extras and Enrolment Fees' and before you complete your fee's payment policy it is very important that you have a look at the OMCYA criteria, click here to download.

The FCCC have received a number of queries regarding the Fee's Policy, if you have a query please send it by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   and we will compile an email with all queries and forward to the OMCYA for clarification and as soon as we receive this it will be available on our website.


Parents please note that children born between 2/2/06 and 30/6/07 will be eligible for the ECCE scheme from September 2010. To avail of the scheme children should be enrolled in a service delivering the ECCE in advance of this date. The OMCYA will mail a ECCE Parent's Information Guide out to eligible parents in August.
